Andrew is an experienced financier and entrepreneur focused on sports, entertainment, media, wellness and related consumer technologies.
Andrew is a shareholder and has served as Chief Business Officer at Dugout Ltd., the only media company co-founded and co-owned by 9 or the 10 world’s largest football (soccer) clubs – Arsenal FC, FC Barcelona, FC Bayern Münich, Chelsea FC, Juventus FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester City FC, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid CF. Dugout has grown to become the unified content and media services partner for all stakeholders in global football partnered with 100+ clubs with an audience of 60m+ active users and 600m+ monthly video views.
Previously, Andrew co-founded Athlete Training Club with several owners of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks as well as co-founders of Wheels Up and Prime Sports.
In 2014, Andrew became special advisor to Riccardo Silva and a Vice President of MP & Silva, at the time the world’s largest privately-owned sports media rights company specializing in the management and distribution of world-class sports properties including Premier League, Serie A, Formula 1, and NFL. MPS was sold in 2016 to China Everbright Ltd.
Andrew is an owner and served two years on the board at Bologna Football Club 1909 with partners Joey Saputo (Chairman and majority owners), owner of the MLS’s Montreal Impact, and Tony Rizza, Managing Director at Columbus Circle Investors.
Andrew founded and served for 6 years as Chief Executive Officer and GM of the Tampa Bay Rowdies professional soccer club. Andrew led the Rowdies to the 2012 championship title and represented the team owners on the US Soccer Federation Pro Council. In 2017, the Rowdies were acquired by the ownership group of Major League Baseball’s Tampa Bay Rays.
Previously, Andrew co-founded and was Managing Director of boutique venture firm Citrus Ventures, which focused on M&A and private placement advisory services.
Andrew’s family hails from Boston, MA and Bogotá, Colombia. He graduated from Boston University’s School of Management.
